Production Test Manager Description: 1. Plan, direct and coordinate activities related to Production Test. 2. Direct, review and interface product design as related to Production Test. 3. Provides interface with Engineering to resolve technical problems affecting quality of products. 4. Trains other technicians in test methods, procedures and use of test equipment. 5. Reads schematic drawings and wiring diagrams and applies knowledge of electronic theory to test electronic subassemblies and systems using standard test equipment and procedures. 6. Assign sales work orders to appropriate test personnel. 7. Oversee troubleshooting of defective or improperly functioning circuitry. 8. Sets up and operates test equipment to evaluate performance of prototype designs. 9. Assists engineers in development of testing techniques and procedures. 10. Responsible for maintaining test procedures in the Quality System database. 11. Responsible for maintaining and repairing testing equipment. 12. Work with Production Manager to assure orders are completed for on time delivery. 13. Create shippers when orders are completed for shipment. 14. Performs other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor degree in Electronics and/or 10 years related work experience.
