Sales Engineer
Job Requirements:
1. Assist the Account Executive in pre and post sales.
- Assist sales in product demonstration.
- Write and verify technical portions of marketing literature
- Recommend alternate configurations, applications and products in order to provide the optimum solution for the customer environment.
- Provide technical support for sales staff and customers to promote product sales.
- Provides technical support in the preparation of quotes and proposals.
- Provides support for system projects and contributes toward product design solutions.
- Ensures products are configured and sold in accordance with their intended use.
- Communicate with the customer on the technical level
- Once sales is made, will manage project until successful installation at the customer facility.
- Provide support to the customer after installation
- Provide product training to the customer
2. Assist in the performance testing of customer configurations and product verification. 3. Assist manufacturing and engineering to provide a successful project completion. 4. Work with manufacturing, engineering and the customer to create a Factory Acceptance Plan (FAT) 5. Test the product with the customer using the FAT 6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or 5 years work experience
Knowledge: Production and processing; Computers and electronics; Design;
Abilities: Oral and written comprehension and expression. Deductive and inductive reasoning. Fluency of ideas and Originality. Have a security clearance or be able to pass a background Investigation. Be able to travel within the country and International destinations
