Cornet Technology, Inc. Serial-to-Packet Transport & Migration Solutions Receive JITC Certification

The IPGate-AC and IPGate-AC HD 32/64 are Now Available on the UC APL

Springfield, VA – November 29, 2012 -- Cornet Technology, Inc. a leader in video, voice, and data communication is pleased to announce that its IPGate-AC and IPGate-AC HD serial-to-packet transport and migration solutions have been tested and certified by the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) for both system interoperability and information assurance. They are now on the Defense Switched Network (DSN) approved products list (UP APL) and can be found under the fixed network element category.

IPGate-AC solutions are designed to simplify the Department of Defense (DoD) “everything over IP” effort by easing the migration of legacy serial- and circuit-based network applications to packet-based IP networks. By passing JITC testing, Cornet Technology’s IPGate serial-to-packet solutions offer industry technologically advanced appliances that provide greater functionality than the competition. These appliances use the latest emulation technology to encapsulate the TDM traffic into packets as it enters the network and restoring them at the exit point. This technology provides a single device platform to develop a unified communications’ solution.

IPGate-AC solutions fulfill desired feature requests by offering near continuous operation through total system -- controller, power supply, power input – redundancy. The appliance never has to be turned off to replace or add cards or rebooted to upgrade software configurations. To satisfy monitoring and testing requirements of the legacy interfaces, the IPGate-AC offers both circuit monitoring and testing along with detailed statistics for the IP portion of the network.

The IPGate-AC also differentiates its self from the competition by offering any-to-any connectivity anywhere on the network where there is an IPGate-AC appliance through a drag and drop approach via IntelView, Cornet Technology’s network management product.

"The addition of the IPGate family to the UC APL confirms Cornet Technology’s commitment to meeting the exacting standards of its defense and intelligence customers," said Tom Bennett, President of Cornet Technology, Inc.

Cornet Technology and AM3D

Cornet Technology Introduces a New

Sound Separation Tool

Exceptional tool is a result of partnership with audio software developer AM3D

Springfield, VA – November 13, 2012 - Cornet Technology, Inc., a leading provider of C4ISR solutions, introduces a new 3D audio tool in partnership with AM3D for its TVCS systems that dramatically improves warfighter Battlespace situational awareness.

Improved speech intelligibility and understanding

Performing a vital role in C2 secure and non-secure communication radio environments (sea, air, and ground) is Cornet Technology's TVCS. The incorporation of the AM3D sound separation tool offers users the ability to spatially separatesimultaneous audio cues. The result is that sounds and voices heard on headphones are perceived as if they are located in a horizontal plane around the operator. This makes it easier to remember and separate multiple voices and to keep track of several simultaneous radio nets thus increasing speech intelligibility, reducing mental fatigue, and improving mission execution.

Cornet Technology chose the AM3D software in response to a customer request for improving situational awareness in C2 centers. Research found that AM3D was the only software product found capable of answering the customer's specified need.

"The AM3D sound separation tool is an excellent complement to Cornet Technology's communication products and will enhance our ability to meet our customer's exacting standards. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with AM3D A/S," said Unni Nair, V.P. Engineering, Cornet Technology. Mr. Nair feels that this groundbreaking product will expand demand for Cornet Technology communication products."

"The sound separation tool for low bandwidth communication is based on years of research and development and is matchless in the industry. AM3D is pleased to partner with Cornet Technology as both companies have the same approach to providing the latest technology and we see this agreement as a synergistic way of combining our areas of expertise to effectively enhance customers' ability to perform," said Sven Vestergaard, Senior Vice President, AM3D A/S.

Cornet Technology’s ClearWave™ All Optical Switch with IntelView Software Added to DISA Approved Product List

Springfield, VA – August 28, 2012 -- Cornet Technology, Inc. (CTI) announced today that its ClearWave all optical switch and IntelView element management software have been tested and certified by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) for interoperability with Defense Department networks and have been added to the Unified Capabilities Approved Product List (UC APL).

The ClearWave, using Calient Technologies’ patented 3D MEMS technology, is the first all-optical switch to be certified for interoperability and information assurance and placed on the UC APL.   UC APL placement indicates that the ClearWave along with IntelView meet the Defense Information Systems Network’s demanding security requirements and achieves open standards-based interoperability with Defense Department Networks.

The ClearWave all optical switch offers government agencies the means of securing data and the means of meeting efficiencies of cost and manpower.   The -60db separation within the ClearWave’s switching fabric guarantees information assurance adding a measure of security to fiber interconnect applications while eliminating needless network element duplication. The ClearWave also improves government manpower efficiency by automating the monitoring, testing, restoring, and reconfiguring of fiber networks. Cost savings are achieved through the sharing of any high-value resources such as test and monitoring equipment within a defined network. The ClearWave switch is designed to aide government agencies with data center consolidation, testing and disaster recovery, optical patch management, and video teleconferencing.

"Cornet Technology is committed to meeting the exacting standards of its defense and intelligence customers, receiving this UC APL certification is proof of this commitment," said Tom Bennett, President of Cornet Technology, Inc.
