The Cornet Technology GmbH participation at Milipol, 17-20 November 2015 in Paris, France was a rousing success.   During the four days of the show, demonstrations of our TVCS InterConnect 120, IPGate HD32, and our Standard and High Definition Video Encoders, Decoders, and Recorders attracted military attendees and dignitaries from a number of countries such as Israel, France, Germany, Kuwait, Qatar, and Canada.

Environmentally rugged solution fulfills need for Military Air Defense Application

 

Springfield, VA – October 6, 2015 – Top global system integrator purchases multiple Cornet Technology, Inc. Salient-6000, 3U VPX-based tactical computers to meet a Middle Eastern Country’s specific requirements for military mobile Air Defense Command Center servers.

 

“We were approached by this customer because of our reputation for designing and developing custom solutions,” said Unni Nair, Vice President of Engineering for Cornet Technology, Inc.  “Working closely with them we were able to provide an Open VPX, rugged mobile network computing system for Air Defense that works well in harsh environments.”

 

In the area of embedded computing, Springfield, VA based Cornet Technology designs and manufactures 3U Open-VPX technology mission computers consisting of 3rd Generation Intel® Core i7-based single board computers, a Layer 2/3 Ethernet Switch (ENET), a router, a solid state storage module, built-in GPS and Communication ports all installed within a hybrid cooled enclosure.
