iVDO Quattro MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and H.264 Encoder/Decoder

The iVDO Quattro supports either MPEG-2, or MPEG-4, or H.264 at all standard resolutions. This small (1.75” H x 19” W), light weight, and hardened fits easily into crowded video cabinets. The iVDO Quattro is packed with features such as closed captioning, on-screen display, stereo audio, and an internal high performance Ethernet switch that supports QoS. The unit offers multiple configuration options that meet surveillance market demands. Like our other iVDO models, the iVDO Quattro offers a number of useful features. Multicast and unicast IP packets allow video to be broadcast to single or multiple sites as the application requires. On-screen display provides information such as date and time. Closed captioning is offered for applications that need to display information such as traffic status, Amber alerts, and other important information and can be turned on or off as needed.

iVDO Micro
The iVDO Micro video encoder provides excellent quality video images with a low latency over IP for a variety of security and surveillance applications (e.g., facility management, perimeter monitoring, intelligent transportation, and others). Housed in a stylish, extruded aluminum, compact chassis (about the size of a PDA), the unit is ideal for even the tightest space requirements. Thus the iVDO Micro can be located with cameras, domes, environmental sensor devices, and other remote equipment. With built-in Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) capability, it can be placed in mid-span locations where access to AC power is not available.

The quad multiplexer function enables the operator to select which decoded streams to view and allows any decoded image to be displayed in quad, full screen or picture-in-picture format. The dual quad multiplexer outputs are available as Composite, S-Video, and VGA signals for directly connecting to computer display monitors such as plasmas or LCDs.
